A bit about us..
WW1 Living History has been providing hands-on, frontline-focused school incursions throughout New South Wales for over 12 years. During this time, we have reached over 100,000 students in more than 400 schools, offering them a unique educational experience.
Our program has evolved over the years by blending several of our passions and strategies. Central to our approach is a deep love for the history of WW1 frontline soldiering.
This enthusiasm is paired with a passion for using historical artefacts in teaching, bringing the past to life for students. We firmly believe in the power of storytelling as a tool for education, helping students connect with history on a personal level.
In addition to these elements, we use humour to engage learners, making our sessions both informative and enjoyable.
This combination of history, artefacts, storytelling, and humour has been described by many as a truly special educational experience.
Our goal is to inspire a deeper understanding and appreciation of WW1 history among students, fostering a connection with the past through humerous, interactive and immersive learning.
